Steve Caballero And Armourdillo

To say that Steve Caballero is a skate legend is an understatement. He has been a pro skateboarder for 30 years! Cab started skating in 1976 at the age of 12. He was sponsored as an amateur by Powell Peralta in 1978 at the age of 15. Cab turned pro in 1980 at the Oasis Skatepark, Southern California during the Gold Cup series. He is an OG member of the Bones Brigade and starred in the skate video classic The Search For Animal Chin. Cab was also the first skateboarder to have a Vans pro-model shoe (the full-top Caballero and Half-Cab) and this is still one of Vans’ best-selling models to this day. We’re proud to have him a part of the family.
